Dunno, architecturally I'm more impressed with MojoNation. I will run
both when I get my xDSL (hopefully, in six weeks), of course.

As to financial support, as soon as you're a company, you're fucked.
It has to be a grassroots thing, and it itself has to create the 
infrastructure for its own dissemination.

So you use standard SSL ports and traffic pattern, this makes it 
rather difficult to filter.
