Examine closely for toothmarks, though I don't think there's reason to fear
any harm: they seem to have raided only the S,T and some of V, all in two
shelves right above my iMac. That's why I was worried about a comp
infestation: thought some of the more daring ones could have parachuted
down. Today the boffins came over and opened it up, and pronounced it
clean. Apparently these varmints belong to the Windows crowd. Linux is too
much to expect.
Don't know yet about walls and structural supports, which I'm told they're
also partial to. Meanwhile, my entire collection is down and stacked on any
available floor space, and being thoroughly vacuumed prior to chemical
treatment; my house looks like a refugee camp for remaindered books.
