Aren't you being a bit extreme in critiziing his nom de plume? I have a
president that calls himself "W" and that doesn't bother me a bit (although it
does bother me that he calls himself "President" and that other people do too).

I don't think Udhay has anything against his nom de plume. It's just that the mailing system is set up to accept postings only from subscribed users (to protect the list against spam), and root@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx isn't one of them.


It was only the email ID that was offending, because we do think that Hash fully qualifies as a root :-)
