Re: [silk] Frank's Intro
Hi Frank,
Interesting. I guess what we share in common is that I am a journalist who's
been covering the Indian and international tech scene for the last seven
years. Linux is another common thread. I am part of a group that's
localising Linux in Indian languages (see www.indlinux.org). Have also
written an article titled "Why Linux Makes Sense for India" for slashdot
(search for my name on www.slashdot.org).
Some of my writings are on my site (not updated since Feb 1998!!) at
www.venky.org and a column I used to write called "E-mail from the ether" at
www.timescomputing.com/eml.html
Chief interests: Venture capital and atartups in India (I edit
www.venturekatalyst.com) and IT and it's role in economic development.
If you are in Mumbai, let's meet up.
Venky
